Will metaverse succeed?

Meta is not an innovative company and its vision for the Metaverse is unlikely to be successful, said a former top executive of Nintendo. The Metaverse is definitely going to fail, except as an extension of the video game industry’s revenue. However, as long as Zuckerberg and others want to tip over at that windmill, there will be a market of hundreds of billions that will supply them with chips and electronics, such as taking quarters from a video player. The Metaverse will be a success because it is the natural progress of society.

Just as a worldwide instant communication network (Internet) was inevitable, it is also a way to integrate that network with the senses (including our sense of reality). The Metaverse is a world that thrives on a future where cryptocurrency and digital art, known as non-fungible tokens (NFT), are commonplace. On the next Internet, Mark Zuckerberg, head of the company formerly known as Facebook, describes “The Metaverse, the nonexistent thing that he touted a few months ago. I think that the Metaverse offers possibilities and possibilities that go far beyond anything anyone is talking about right now.

The fact that the biggest social media in the world will be pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into the birth of a new social platform is the main reason I’m optimistic about Metaverse’s launch to the public. For example, if an organization enters the Metaverse that needs a highly specific setting, such as travel booking, the MeeKai Metaverse platform can be adjusted accordingly, Kaplan said. As the who’s who of the retail, fashion, banking, and gaming industry is interested in being part of the Metaverse, everyone is closely watching the space to identify the leader of the Metaverse Builder package. If the Metaverse is to be successful, it must prove to be more than just a one-trick pony.

Another exciting company on the metaverse radar screen is Dreamium Labs, which I wrote about earlier this year. Kaplan highlighted several action points that companies can take to succeed in the Metaverse and how the MeeKai Metaverse is positioned to help them achieve this. MetaVerse on the other hand is a completely different game and Zucks know very well that he isn’t ready for the real game and maybe he doesn’t even know it and just wants to parasite and take advantage of the opportunity while he has one now. A spatial environment is great, but technology companies need to convince people that there are significant benefits to using the Metaverse and that the Metaverse’s 3D environment is more than just a novelty.

With deep pockets, the company can not only afford to create multiple versions of its metaverses, but it also has the ability to focus attention on what it’s doing and take the conversation in a direction it’s looking for. If this is really the case, that doesn’t bode well for the metaverse that requires the use of a digital headset. James Kaplan, CEO and co-founder of Meetkai, told VentureBeat that MeetKai Metaverse helps companies interested in becoming players in the emerging metaverse ecosystem have easy access and maintain their own spaces in the new immersive world.
